Hi Everyone
Hope you all had a lovely weekend - back to work now though :0(. I was home alone on Saturday as Brent had to go into work so after my 54 lengths of the swimming pool I spent the rest of the day in Crafty Corner - how nice! Fingers crossed that my efforts in the pool help me lose a bit of weight for weigh in at Slimming World on Tuesday!
It was my Crafty Buddy
Karen's birthday yesterday and I am sorry to say that I didn't manage to get her birthday card to her on time - how rude! I did give her a card to open so that she had something (as well as her pressie of course!) but the card was awful! So awful that it looked like a two year old had made it, so I've made it up to her with her proper card that I've given her today - I hope she likes it! And here it is:-
And she does know too much - especially how much I spend on crafting goodies!!
For the inside of the card I used the new Fabric paper from the Forever Friends Kraft range - beware the edges do fray a bit......
Here is a close up of the image:-
However, this is the second attempt at colouring - my first is below. The colouring was fine - in fact I think the blonde/light hair is actually better on this first attempt, but the greeting stamp fell off of the block and so I couldn't use it - I did swear a bit!!
Now I know why I use more digi-stamps than normal stamps!
I hope you all like the card too!
Fingers crossed for Weigh-in day on Tuesday and hopefully I'll be able to blog some more cards soon!
Bye for now and of course Happy Birthday
Karen!
Lisa xx
