Happy 60th Birthday Phil!

Hi Everyone!

Had a great time at the party last night - food was lovely (had a night off from Slimming World!!). And we then got invited to a Barbeque and Phil & Ann's house today - good weekend I'd say!

Here is the gift card I made for Phil's birthday. They are off to Las Vegas next week so as a present I got Phil some US Dollars to spend while they are there. So I tried to make the card 'Las Vegas' themed.

Phil loved it I am pleased to say! Hope you all like it too.

So that's this weekend over and I have they day off work tomorrow so I'm off to the pool in the morning to work off the food and booze from this weekend, oh and it just happens to be the first day of Wimbledon - so that's me sorted!

Bye for now

That's Mister Old Fart to you!

Hi Everyone

Look at me doing a Mid-week post - Can't promise that it will happen too often! It's mean to be the hottest day of the year today (we'll see!) - although I work in an air-conditioned office so still have to go to work dressed for winter lol!

Today is our friend's 60th birthday and I thought that Gus from Bugaboo Stamps would make a good image to use. I'm also making a gift card for his present (this will follow at the weekend after his party). So here's the card...................

What do you think - I hope you all like it!

Watch out for my next post at the weekend - will the nice weather manage to last that long?????

See you all again soon!

Father's Day Part Two

Hello Me again!

Sad I know, but I always make a card for Brent from Woodi & Saren - last year he had James Bond and this year I found an appropiate Teddy Bo image as they do just 'love their dad' lol!

Here it is

Now they say that Blue and Green should never be seen but I quite like this colour combo - what do you think??
Hopefully Brent likes this and his book and chocolate that the girls spent their 'pocket money' on!
See you again soon hopefully - off to do parent visiting today.

Father's Day Part One.......

Hi Everyone

Hope you are enjoying your weekend and Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there!

I managed to get these two cards finished for My Dad and Brent's Dad just in the nick of time - I don't know where all my crafting time goes at the minute! Somehow I have got to get a birthday card done by Tuesday and another one by Saturday - going to be tight!

Anyway back to today's cards and here they are:-

I've used the lovely Teddy Bo again this time - the blue one is for my dad and the gardening themed one is for Brent's dad.
I hope you (and the dad's) them.
Look out for another posting a bit later

Crafty Friends Challenge No 2 - Bingo!

Hi Everyone

Hope you are all well and enjoying your weekend so far. We popped to the beach this afternoon as it is a nice bright sunny day, but it was so windy it was freezing. Felt more like October rather than June! We did see tons of kitesurfers though - they must be mad! Woodi and Saren had a nice time though - Woodi does love the beach, it's her most favourite place to go.

Brent and I have also been engaged for 22 years today - where did that time go!
Anyway, back to the important Crafty stuff and today sees the start of Challenge No 2 at the newly reformed Crafty Friends Challenge Blog (Previously the Forever Friends Challenge Blog) and as I am in Team 2 this is my first challenge. The theme this time is Bingo! and here is the Bingo card that we have used:-
and this challenge is sponsored by:-

For full details of the prizes on offer for the winners and to join in the challenge pop over to the Crafty Friends Challenge Blog.

Here is my DT card for team 2 and from the Bingo board I've used Flowers, Blue and Buttons

Cute little bear (not quite the same as our Forever Friends bear though)!!
I hope you like the card and don't forget to join in our challenge at Crafty Friends.
Hope to see you all again soon - now off to get ready to watch the BGT final.
Bye for now
